Homemade Rabbit Treats - Recipe 2

As everyone knows, it is nice to have something sweet every once in a while! This could be anything along the lines of sweet for humans! Although this post is about homemade rabbit treats and your bunny SHOULDN'T ever have anything sugary like sweets. They can have fruit though, just keep in mind that fruit does have some sugars in them and that your bunny could become obese if they have too much of these. This recipe below will have 3-4 servings and I would recommend that you use it up within 5 days. This recipe will involve minimum effort and take you between 5-15 minutes to complete! Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 2 little boxes of raisins
  • 1 cup of hay
  • along with a sprig of rosemary

Steps:

1) Start by chopping up and pureeing your banana (make sure that their are no lumps left)

2) Add in the raisins and the parts of rosemary to your banana (your bunny is aloud to have the stalk so you can chop this up in their as well)

3) Now add in your cup of hay. I would suggest that you chop this up into smaller pieces as it would mix together more easily!

4) This is now complete! I would recommend that you put this into a container so you can keep it refrigerated if necessary! You can now feed to your bunny so they can enjoy this tasty treat!

Tell me your thought on this product below as I would love to hear your feedback! Have you changed the recipe a bit? If you have I would love to know!

Did you find this recipe easy to do/make for your bunny?

  • yes, very easy!
  • I found it fairly easy.
  • No, it was very hard and too challenging for me...

Hey that's nice. Rabbits have to eat too :)

We used to keep rabbits. They were rescue animals. I bet they would have loved your treat.
